Bubbly blueberry smoothie

This smoothie is perfect if you need a filling breakfast in the morning but don’t have the time to prepare anything fancy. The oats will keep you full until lunch and the blueberries will give your focus a boost. Who needs caffeine if you have blueberries?

Ingredients (1 person)

  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk or another plant-based milk
  • 1 spotty banana
  • 1 cup of frozen or fresh blueberries
  • 1 tbsp of peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup of oats
  • 2 medjool dates   


  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Enjoy!


If you don’t have a very powerful blender, soak your medjool dates in hot water before adding them to the smoothie. This makes it easier to blend the dates to a smooth consistency.
